THE AMAZING RACE ONLINE GAME
GRAND SLAM BATTLE 09-10!
This grandslam battle is to promote friendly competition towards the players in the site and for everyone to participate in this forum.
Of course, there will be prizes. The Head Honcho will be giving away 50 to 100 USD in total (depending on the number of games) and a token of appreciation for the winner will be given away after the complete series of games! Of course, the winner him or herself will have the right to brag about being the best online Racer!
Everyone (except me of course) is able to participate! Just sign up in this thread in order to participate in the first grandslam battle on TAVRn!!
RULES:
The grandslam battle will be a battle between players in 5 - 10 different TAR Fantasy Game series all throughout the 2009 - 2010 Television Season. There must be a minimum of 5 TAR FANTASY GAMES for this grandslam battle to occur. For every game added after the 5 games, an additional 10 USD will be added to the pot until it reaches 100 USD!
If a pair (in case all games become a 2 player game) wins, the prize money is split into two, just like the TAR games.
TEAMS AND SCORING
Teams may be composed of individuals or in pairs. Players are scored by their placements for every race. The player or team with the least number of averaged score after the 5 to 10 games over the season will win the first ever Grandslam Battle in TAVRn!
Once players sign up, players must play all the events to their very best, else, they will be given the lowest possible rank for games they ditch or do not appear on.
RACES
To be fair, races may take up to how many players as they can, and the number of legs they prefer not exceeding 15. But to players, come with a warning of ranking low due to many competitors.
For the Race planners other than me, once you have filed for application as an event, you are deducted of 5 points from the total number of points you get before averaging your joined games.
